Program Director, ACC Orange County Surgical Technology Program
Dustin Briggs is an esteemed professional in both the surgical technology and health administration fields with a career spanning over two decades.
Dustin graduated as a surgical technologist in 1999 and completed his surgical rotation at Georgetown University in Washington DC, where he also secured his first job. Dustin became a certified surgical technologist in 2002, furthering his commitment to upholding high standards of patient care.
In 2007, Dustin earned his certification as a surgical first assistant and went on to work in Texas. In this role, he assisted in all areas of surgery including trauma, cardiovascular, and neurosurgery.
Dustin advanced his education and earned a bachelor's in healthcare administration from the University of Phoenix in 2013. His professional journey led him first to American Career College and then to a position in surgery center administration. He returned to ACC in 2022, where he now serves as the Program Director of the Surgical Technology program in Orange County.
Dustin’s extensive experience and expertise make him a valuable contributor to ACC and the broader healthcare field.
