ACC Admissions

ACC is open to all students who have the drive and determination to be successful.

We love it when students come to visit our campuses, so bring your family or support system. A talk with an ACC Admissions Advisor is the best way to make sure all your questions are answered, and to get a good feel for what ACC has to offer.

Don't forget: Before starting class, each student must meet the admissions requirements, so make sure you work closely with your Admissions Advisor to complete the process.

Note: If you're applying for the Vocational Nursing or Respiratory Therapy programs, you will also have to take the HESI exam, covering healthcare training subjects.

Learn more about earning your high school equivalency.

At ACC, we want to see you succeed. We've partnered up with the HSE Academy to offer a no-cost High School Equivelancy (HSE) Preparation Program conveniently located on campus, to help you do your best on your HSE exam.

How You'll Prepare:

  • An individualized schedule that works for you
  • Access to teachers and tutors

For an extra boost, we can also refer you to a public adult school.

While HSE Academy does offer no-cost HSE Test preparation program, choosing the HSE Academy program to fulfill the high school equivalency admissions requirement is in no way required to enroll at American Career College. There are many HSE Test preparation programs in the State of California. Be sure to research and compare different programs before making a final decision.
