Program Director, Ontario Surgical Technology Program
Stacie is a leader in surgical technology with extensive clinical and academic experience. She received her Surgical Technology Certificate from Prairie State College in 2012 and later earned an Associate of Applied Science in Surgical Technology from Lincoln Land Community College. Most recently, Stacie received her Bachelor's of Science in Healthcare Administration from Concorde Career College.
During her time as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST), Stacie has assisted in thousands of surgical procedures. She is experienced in a wide range of specialties including orthopedics, ophthalmology, pediatrics, vascular, podiatry, urology, neuro/spine and gynecologic services. In addition, Stacie served as a Clinical Evaluator at her alma mater, Prairie State College. In her role there, she instructed dozens of surgical technology students, supervised them in open lab sessions and oversaw their clinical evaluations.
Among her many accomplishments, Stacie helped transition the Surgical Technology program at both Midwestern Career College and Concorde Career College from certificate level to associate level by following the guidelines of the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) and pursuing initial programmatic accreditation through ARC/STSA.
Along with her educational and professional endeavors, Stacie has made a meaningful impact in the Inland Empire through her community service with Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated including feeding the unhoused, participating in community baby showers, holding blanket drives and more.
As Program Director of the Surgical Technology program at ACC’s Ontario campus, Stacie participates in curriculum development and coordination, determines teaching assignments, selects faculty, serves as a mentor and facilitator for faculty and more. Above all, Stacie helps cultivate an environment that fosters creativity, responsiveness and self-responsibility.
