ACC-LA Celebrates First Graduation Ceremony for Radiography Program

American Career College proudly welcomed the first graduating cohort from its Los Angeles radiography program this July.

"The graduates were each presented with a special pin during the ceremony, recognizing their accomplishments in completing the program and becoming eligible to join the profession of radiologic technologists," ACC-Los Angeles academic retention specialist Brenda Clydesdale said.

Thanks to the help of ACC-LA business office manager Alicia Suzuki, the 20 graduates also received lunch and a special cookie deliciously decorated with a "trifoil," the universal symbol for radiology.

"The students were very happy, and spoke so highly of their program director, Robert Medellin, and all of their instructors," Clydesdale said. "It was a great event."

ACC's radiography program is available at all three campuses, and students can earn their degree in as little as 25 months.
